Brick-by-Brick® Programme: Certified Facilitator and Advanced Facilitator Fast Track

This face-to-face fast track course enables you to complete Certified Facilitator and Advanced Facilitator in two consecutive days.

Get started on your Brick-by-Brick® programme journey with the Certified Facilitator 1-day training (in-person). This course gives you the background needed to set up and run a Brick Club. 

After completing the Certified Facilitator training, you can take the next step on your Brick-by-Brick® programme journey with the Advanced Facilitator training. This full day, face-to-face experiential course focuses on playful facilitation. Learn through play and deepen your knowledge on how to support a wide range of children.

Following successful completion of this course you can be listed on the Play Included register of Brick-by-Brick® programme facilitators. You will also get access to more resources to support delivery of Brick Clubs.

The training is suitable for anyone working or training in the health, education or care sector who wants to train in the Brick-by-Brick® programme and run Brick Clubs.

The Certified and Advanced Facilitator training is certified by the CPD Certification Service.

Day 1 (Certified Facilitator) covers:

• Background, theory and research into Brick-by-Brick® programme
• Introduction to learning through play
• Understanding neurodiversity and autism
• Practicalities of delivering the Brick-by-Brick programme
• Adaptations for different ages and abilities
• Playful facilitation

Day 2 (Advanced Facilitator) covers:

• Practical, hands-on experience of Brick Club activities
• Learning through play and share ideas with others
• Focus on playful facilitation skills, and experience using facilitation tools
• Adaptations for different ages and abilities

Your purchase of the Certified Facilitator training includes 12 months Play Included membership. After the initial12 months, membership will be payable via an annual subscription. Play Included membership includes:

• Access to bi-monthly online Drop in sessions with a Play Included training expert
• High quality vault of resources to use in Brick Clubs
• Access to the Facilitator Community of practice
• Listing on Register of Facilitators if required (coming soon)

To sign up for the Fast track Certified Facilitator and Advanced Facilitator training you must confirm on registration that:

• You are able to deliver Brick Clubs in a recognised organisation that routinely provides support, care, educational or medical provision (e.g. school, educational centre or health service).  A recognised organisation is an Education, Health, or Care provider that has its own complaints and safeguarding policy.

• You agree to abide by Play Included's Safeguarding Policy, Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy and the LEGO Foundation's Safeguarding policy.
